Temple Dishes:
This is the set we have used to serve meals to the murtis in our temple.
A different food is placed in each of the small bowls. Then a lid is put over it to keep them all in place and another lid seals the top.

The meal is carried to the Temple for a blessing, then brought back to the kitchen where the blessed food is mixed into the regular food, thereby blessing all the food for the noon-time meal.
